On May 16 the National Cinema Center of Armenia started its activities at the Marche du Film market of the 76th Cannes International Film Festival.
Here is a brief summary of the meetings held with international partners.
Melikset Karapetyan, Film Commissioner, gave an interview to France 3 TV; he talked about the centennial anniversary of Armenian cinema, Frunze Dovlatyan's "Hello, It’s Me" feature included in the"Cannes Classics" section of the Cannes International Film Festival and other current achievements and challenges of the national film industry.
Director of the National Cinema Center of Armenia Shushanik Mirzakhanyan had a meeting with Philip Bober, producer and establisher of the Coproduction Office company.
A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the National Cinema Center of Armenia and the Film Center of Montenegro.
The Cinema Center’s representatives met the reps of MK2 company. The company is one of the world's leaders in film sales and distribution and will carry out the global distribution of the restored film "Hello, It’s Me" by Frunze Dovlatyan according to the contract signed with the Cinema Center.
A meeting was held with Sheree Ramage, an award manager of the Asia-Pacific Screen Awards.
